Professor Saito’s research focuses on the legal history of race and settler colonialism in the United States and the human rights implications of U.S. governmental policies, particularly with regard to immigrants, American Indians, and U.S. territorial possessions.
Professor Sudeall is the founding faculty director of the Center for Access to Justice. Her research touches on the intersection of constitutional law and criminal procedure, with a focus on the right to counsel and the role of equal protection in indigent defense reform.
