Aarhus is one of Europe’s leading universities and hosts more than 1000 study-abroad students each year.
Recognizing that our graduates increasingly encounter international legal issues in their practice of law, even in domestic practice, the College of Law seeks to provide students with opportunities to gain experience in intercultural legal training.
Specific educational objectives of our study-abroad partnership with Aarhus University include:
- Students will gain deeper knowledge of other legal systems.
- Students will have the opportunity to interact with law students and faculty from other legal systems and different cultures.
- Students will gain familiarity with foreign legal cultures and will better understand the different operation of laws in other countries.
College of Law students participating in our study-abroad partnership with Aarhus University will earn credit only for courses related to the socio-legal environment of the country in which the foreign institution is located, Denmark, or for courses that have an international or comparative focus.
