The law changes with the times and so do we. At Georgia State Law, our dynamic curriculum prepares students for success. With a variety of courses in everything from entertainment to immigration law, we give students the tools to find their passion and make a positive impact in the world.
Experiential learning is at the core of our curriculum. We believe that the best way to learn the law is to practice it. From the first day of class, our students write sample case briefs, dockets and other legal documents. Our research centers, co-curricular activities, study abroad, and Alternative Spring Break programs allow students to apply skills learned in class. The clinics and externships offer students the chance to work with real clients under the guidance of a practicing attorney. This emphasis on hands-on learning is why the College of Law leads the state of Georgia in bar passage rates. We’re doing law school #TheStateWay.
Our faculty’s expertise and dedication to student success are unmatched. They are often quoted in scholarly journals and national newspapers for their perspective on everything from constitution to health care law. Most importantly, they are committed to students from admission to bar passage.
