Stanton Sewell is a Library Technical Assistant in the Circulation Department of the Law Library. His duties include checking out library materials to borrowers, facilitating access to study rooms for law students, assisting with the shelving of library materials, and helping to fulfill student requests for books via GilExpress, in addition to filling faculty requests for various books and journal articles.
Prior to joining the Georgia State University College of Law in 2018, Mr. Sewell worked for the Atlanta-Fulton County Public Library System for 22 years. Working his entire career in downtown Atlanta’s Central Library as a Library Associate, for many years he maintained a large collection of films and recorded music. He also provided customer service and basic reference, and hosted numerous film screenings for library programming events.
Fun personal fact: Mr. Sewell is a former resident of the United Kingdom.
