- Biography
Charla Strawser, partner at Stern & Edlin, is a trial lawyer who practices exclusively in the area of family law. Strawser handles all aspects of complex marital dissolutions, including high asset property division, contested child custody, spousal and child support, paternity and legitimation, and custodial and non-custodial parent relocation.
Strawser earned her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1998 and earned her B.A. in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994, as a recipient of the Sonja H. Stone Academic Scholarship. At Wake Forest, she was a member of the Stanley Moot Court Board, where she won best brief, and served as president of the Public Interest Law Organization.
She is the co-author of the Georgia Domestic Relations Case Finder, now in its fourth edition with Lexis-Nexis Bender Publishing. Strawser has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star by Atlanta Magazine and has been selected as one of Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite.
