As the Director of Marketing and Communications, Amy Jorgensen provides strategic direction on the college’s engagement strategies for brand awareness and customer acquisition. Amy develops marketing strategies for user interaction (UI), social media, search engine optimization (SEO), website structure and functionality, search engine marketing (SEM), and content development. These strategies are maximized based on digital best practices, new technologies, project budget, user feedback, and web analytics. She presents nationally on marketing and communication trends and has delivered award-winning educational sessions for the Higher Ed Web Conference, ACUHO-I Annual Conferences, SEAHO Annual Conference, University of Virginia, University of Michigan, and University of Florida.
Prior to joining Georgia State University’s College of Law in 2018, Amy developed and directed marketing strategies at the University of Virginia, Michigan State University, University of Michigan, University of Florida Department of Housing, University of Florida College of Medicine, Disney’s Worldwide Safety and Accessibility, and a Disney ticketing subsidiary company.
Amy has a B.S. in Business Marketing and an MBA from the University of Florida. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her Basset Hounds, Chauncey Billups & Priscilla Presley.
