The Center for Intellectual Property offers programs and events for students that complement the integrated course of study to develop substantive knowledge, hands-on experience, practical skills and professional judgment. These programs and events are designed for networking and community engagement to put students in direct contact with firms, corporations and other future employment opportunities in the field of intellectual property law.

The IP Law Society provides and supports a variety of activities for students, including opportunities to meet practitioners, obtain insights on IP career decisions, and enrich themselves in all topics IP.

Summer IP Program in Washington, D.C.

Students spend 10 weeks during the summer in Washington, D.C., at the USPTO being trained and working on patent and trademark applications with patent and trademark examiners.
