In the Heart of Downtown Atlanta
The College of Law is located in downtown Atlanta at the corner of John Wesley Dobbs Avenue and Park Place, adjacent to Peachtree Street and historic Auburn Avenue. The State Capitol and corporate offices for Georgia Pacific, CNN, Coca-Cola, and Truist Bank are all steps outside our doors, along with the Martin Luther King Jr. Center, Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, Mercedes-Benz Stadium and other attractions.
Innovative Learning Environment
At Georgia State Law, we are dedicated to practice-based learning and offer a robust externship program, award winning clinics and unique research opportunities.
Students master the theory of law and put it into practice through our innovative curriculum. Our holistic approach blends legal theory with legal experience. Students are able to hit the ground running after graduation with the skills and confidence that employers value.
Unlimited Connections & Opportunities
At Georgia State, we don't just enroll a class, we build a close-knit community. With two dozen co-curricular activities, more than 200 externship options and numerous pro bono partners, students have plenty of space to discover what kind of lawyer they want to be.
In addition, our alumni community is strong. From Superior Courts to the Georgia General Assembly to prestigious law firms, Georgia State Law graduates are everywhere. You'll often see alumni visiting classes, conducting research in the library and visiting professors, always ready to help students succeed.
