The conference is organized with all students in mind. We have sessions designed to help students assess their leadership potential, understand how to work better with groups, and translate their student leadership experience to potential employers. RSVP is now open on PIN. We will have free t-shirts for the first 100 attendees to check in at the event.
Keynote Presentation: Leading with Purpose over Pointless Excuses
Presenter: Demont Pope
2 p.m. – 3:15 p.m., Speakers Auditorium
Demont Pope is a United States Air Force veteran who grew up poor while struggling to survive life in drug and crime-infested neighborhoods. Growing up without his biological father, a victim of abuse and bullying, and attending nine different schools, Demont suffered from rejection, depression, and low self-esteem. However, instead of allowing his circumstances to defeat him, Demont learned to tap into his inner strength to become an authority on wielding the power to overcome. In this keynote, he shares his inspiring message and equips students with the skills to overcome their own challenges.
