Special thanks to the past Moot Court Board for an incredible year! Even though the 2019-2020 competition year was cut short, Moot Court was hugely successful, winning Second Place Oralist Team at the national Saul Lefkowitz Competition and Best Team at the regional competition with the Best Brief and Best Oral Argument; the Best Brief and Runner-up at the regional Thomas Tang Competition to advance to the national competition; and other advancements and Best Oralist awards.
We are looking forward to continued success in the upcoming competition year. Our goals this year are to continue to increase the level of written and oral advocacy skills our members gain through expanding the resources available, to increase our team’s national recognition by growing our list of competitions, and to increase our involvement with faculty and alumni.
Thank you for keeping up with Georgia State’s Moot Court team! The new board is so excited for our team’s continued success and growth in this upcoming year. If you would like to learn more about the organization, or volunteer your time, please reach out to me (firstname.lastname@example.org) or our faculty advisor, Professor Megan E. Boyd (email@example.com).
