I have written on a number of issues in the intersection of legal and political philosophy, and of both with moral philosophy–particularly, obedience, obligation, coercion, and privacy. My current interests include responsibility, control, desert, and punishment. I am also trying to come up with a general account of the relationship between moral reasons and moral requirements, to make sense of how value pluralism might work, and to complete a critical inventory of logical gaps in morality.
