Meet The Staff

Rob Bexley: Editor in ChiefRob Bexley: Editor in ChiefYou look into the mirror in the morning to see someone who is very tired and has a scruffy beard because you are too lazy to shave. Your dog, a neurotic black lab with itchy skin named Tex, has to go to outside, but he’s patient. On the long drive to school, you must continually re-motivate yourself. You remind yourself that on your father’s side you will be the family’s third generation of attorney; on your mother’s side, you are the only of four adult children to graduate high school. They are all counting on you. You listen to some heavy metal music on your iPod and then shuffle to the next song which is by Tom Waits. You are almost to school and you are looking forward to possibly getting to see a movie or playing some table top board gaming over the weekend, your favorite hobbies when you are not studying or working on the Docket. You finally park your Prius and you tell yourself that you are Rob Bexley, Editor in Chief of the Docket, and today will be a fine day.

Jane Stebbins: Managing EditorJane Stebbins: Managing EditorJane is a 2L with an interest in land use and environment.  When she's not frantically pounding knowledge or writing incisive prose, she can be seen rocking the bass with her band, The Jane and Scott Show, or bringing experimental vegan baked goodies to try out on her law school guinea pigs, er, colleagues.  Jane's other blog can be found at www.js-show.com

Diane Kim: Opinions EditorDiane Kim: Opinions EditorDiane is a 2L and is (to quote our editor-in-chief) 'easy to know but hard to master.'  So, here's a list to help: Allergic to apples, cats, and slow cars; Favorites are The Office, daisies, and the deep blue of the clear, perfect, fall sky; Talents include predicting TV shows, falling asleep anywhere, and finding happiness in the little things in life; If she succeeds at law school, she will likely be found practicing criminal defense, civil defense, or any job where they will pay her; If she fails at law school, she will likely be found selling Google phones, 5 Gum, or SkullCandy headphones; Is silly in that she sleeps with her phone, always writes with Sharpies, and named her pet fish, Fish; Hates chicken, the word 'pop', and going to sleep; and Loves Jesus, the rain, and the oxford comma.

Casey Viggiano: Features EditorCasey Viggiano: Features EditorCasey Viggiano is a 2L member of Law Review, Moot Court, STLA and SBA (2L full-time senator).  In her spare time she eats and sleeps.

Charlie Britt: IT SpecialistCharlie Britt: IT SpecialistCharlie Britt, despite all his efforts to avoid Rob Bexley in the hallways of the law school, nonetheless was recruited to build the website for The Docket, thus becoming the IT guru, specialist, "make things happen programmatically" guy.  He'd rather be reading for school, but hey, we can't all be fighter pilots.  Charlie also has a general preference towards herbivorous dinosaurs.

Eleni Bafas: Online EditorEleni Bafas: Online EditorEleni Bafas is a 1L who jumped at the opportunity to get involved with The Docket. In keeping with the stereotypes that inextricably accompany her Georgia Tech degree she volunteered to work on the website.

Kevin Jeselnik: Associate EditorKevin Jeselnik: Associate EditorKevin Jeselnik didn't sign up for this.  After 5 years in the cold, hard real world working as an editor and designer on numerous trade publications dealing with commercial real estate, he entered law school to escape from the toil of journalism.  It didn't entirely work out.  Now he's fallen back into the welcoming embrace of The Docket as protection against the myriad unknowable challenges law school offers.

Ali Makins: PhotographerAli Makins: PhotographerAlison Makins is a 2L with interest in photography, music, poker, shenanigans, literature, travel, and other non-law-related things.  After being presented with the plethora of extra-curricular activities available at GSU COL, she decided that taking photos for The Docket appeared to be the most awesome non-law-related yet law-school-affliated activity available, so she is more than happy to be of service!

Andy Hagenbush: News EditorAndy Hagenbush: News EditorAndy Hagenbush is a 2L with an Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Tech.  Andrew is involved in the Environmental Law Society, The Docket, STLA, the Oglethorpe Society, and SELS.  Andrew lives with his wife and two dogs, is a huge Indianapolis Colts fan, and enjoys long walks on the beach.
