46. Sharing misery

Sure, there's a lot of stuff to like about law school. Every day we learn something new and empowering that helps explain the world a little better to us. Every class we take gives us some idea how our government works, how businesses operate, and just how much we sign away every time we pen our name on the dotted line. But the absolute best thing about law school?

Misery.

I know I regularly advocate injecting some life into your law school life but when is enough enough?

When I was a 1L, I rarely ventured outside of the Urban Life Building and the Student Center for food.  I simply did not know where else to purchase food on campus.  This summer I discovered some delicious options while working at an internship in the vicinity.

            The GSU College of Law is a surprisingly outstanding institution. I say surprisingly because in general, Georgia State University has a well-established reputation for bureaucratic dysfunction. Yet, the College of Law manages to overcome this reputation and provide outstanding support to its students. Regrettably, the same cannot be said of those responsibilities that the College of Law, for whatever reason, outsources to the University.
