National Assoc. of Criminal Defense Lawyers: Did Georgia Execute an Innocent Man?

On Thursday, March 20, 2003 NACDL sponsored a program at GSU.  The speakers included Steven Bright from the Southern Center for Human Rights, Rob Warden from the Northwestern University Center on Wrongful Convictions, and five men who had been convicted of murder, sentenced to death, and were later exonerated.

GSU Law Represents the Southeast at the National Environmental Law Conference

On the last weekend in March, Jane Bradshaw, Jesse Keenan, and I, members of GSU's Environmental Law Society, fled the unusually chilly Atlanta weather for the even chillier Baltimore, Maryland, where students from across the country had congregated for the much-anticipated annual conference of the National Association of Environmental Law Societies (NAELS).  This year's conference was hosted by the University of Maryland, and the theme of the two-day conference was "Protecting our Planetary Backyard."
