Study Space in the Law Library

The Law Library offers many study areas that have access to technology. In addition to wired study carrels and a student computer labs, two thirds of the Law Library currently enjoys wireless coverage for students with laptops. 

Wired Study Carrels

The Law Library has 113 wired carrels for use by any library patron. The carrels are available on a first come/first served basis and provide networking and electricity for mobile computing devices.

Group Study Rooms

The Law Library has 11 group study rooms for use by law students.  Students in groups of two or more may reserve study rooms on a first come/first served basis.  Several of the study rooms have technology for viewing audio visual materials.

Quiet Study Area

A section of the Law Library has been established as a silent study area.  Table-tents identify this area in the Law Library.  Please be considerate to students and patrons who are studying in this area.

Law Library Student Computer Lab

The law library hosts 36 workstations student computer lab including general purpose and research service specific printers.  These computing resources are limited to college of law students.  The law library student computer lab is available to law students all hours the library is open.

Other Resources: Photocopiers and Microform Reader

There are three photocopiers located in the Law Library which support payment with cash or through PantherCard value.

The Law Library also provides free microfiche printing.  For help with using the microfiche reader/printer in the Law Library, see the reference librarian on duty at the reference desk.
