Laptop Exams

The College of Law offers you the option to take your exams on your laptop using Securexam Student software. This software allows students to take exams using Microsoft Word. Securexam locks down the Windows operating system on the student’s computer, only allowing access to a modified version of Microsoft Word.

The Law School is using Securexam Premium testing software, which allows students to upload their exams to the Securexam network.

To get the software, the student will have to register for their exams and attend a mandatory session to download the software. Registration and attendance is crucial so you may use your laptop to take your exams. The registrar’s office will send you information regarding exams.

System requirements specified by the testing software vendor* include:

  • PC users:
    • Microsoft Windows XP
