Information for Incoming 1LsWelcome from the Law Information Technology Team! We are glad that you have chosen Georgia State as your law school. On this page, you will find links to information about the technology resources available to you at the College of Law. In addition, you will find links to other student resources helpful to you in your first year.
1. Get Started with your Campus ID, E-mail, and Network LockerFirst things first: You'll need to activate your University Campus ID. This is your digital identity at Georgia State.
2. Set up your College MyLaw IDThe MyLaw ID allows you access to certain online resources specific to the College. In most cases, if the web address (URL) contains the word "law," you will use your MyLaw ID. Your MyLaw ID is automatically generated after your class registrations are set by the admissions office. You will receive a "welcome" e-mail with your password and further instructions. 3. Explore On-Campus ComputingWhether you are using a personal laptop or the student lab computers, the links below will provide information about on-campus computing.
4. Discover the Law LibraryThe College of Law Library is committed to providing a student-centered and collegial environment designed specifically for law student research and study.
