Using the Classroom Camera

The first generation classroom cameras are found in rooms 325A, 325B, and 405.

In the back corner of the classroom, you will see the camera control station.

Turn on the power switch on the preview panel inside the black video preview station. 

Turn on the power switch on the white camera control station.  You can use the joystick control  on the white camera control station to position the camera.  There are also zoom and focus levers.

Recording at the Podium

At the podium, you will need to turn the volume on the podium control panel completely down to avoid feedback from the microphones through the speakers.

Open the podium to access the VCR.  Turn on the VCR.  Set the channel to L1 (This is the channel with the video from the classroom cameras). 

Insert your VHS tape and press the Record button when you are ready to begin recording.
