All documents containing a client's personal and confidential information that are to be discarded must be destroyed by shredding.
There are shredders in almost every office. But if you have a large amount of documents to shred, please use the shredding box located in the round room or library. All you have to do is drop the documents in the top slot. The documents will be picked up at a later date by a professional shredding company who will shred the documents on premises under the supervision of the College's Facilities Coordinator.
Files and client information should never be left in the offices overnight or while you're out of the clinic for longer than a "break" for lunch, etc.
