Consortium on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution The Consortium on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (CNCR) is a multi-institutional, interdisciplinary program for research, teaching and service in conflict resolution. Since 1988, Since 1988, CNCR has provided research grants, supported curriculum development, organized conferences and symposiums, conducted training and facilitated dispute resolution for numerous private and public entities, both international and domestic. Housed in the College of Law, CNCR serves as one of the college's community outreach programs. CNCR provides support in the implementation of the Board of Regent's Initiative and Policy Direction on Conflict Resolution and works closely with the Georgia Supreme Court's Office of Dispute Resolution, the Carter Center, the Justice Center of Atlanta, the American Arbitration Association and the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution. Each semester, four to five law students are employed as graduate research assistants to support CNCR staff and faculty. |
