Updating Your Personal Information

E-Mail Address

To update your email address, go to the College of Law's e-mail updater system, which is part of the MyLaw ID system. For more information, read the MyLaw ID tutorial or contact the College of Law Technology Services team at (404) 413-9111.

Mailing Address

To update your home address and phone number, go to the University's GoSOLAR system web page. This is the same page that you go to for online registration and for viewing your grades. You will be prompted to enter your student number (which is your full social security number) and your 6-digit access code (if you are using GoSOLAR for the first time, your access code initially will be your 6-digit birth date; as a first time user, you then will be prompted to change your code to the 6-digit number of your choice). You will then come to a screen that lists several options, including an option labeled "Personal Information Menu." Click the link to update any of that data. Please note that you cannot use GoSOLAR to record a change in your name.

Name Changes

If you wish to change your name in the College of Law's and University's records you must go to the University Registrar and complete a change of name form. The University Registrar's Office is located at 227 Sparks Hall.
