Teaching (Virtually) Teaching

© Patrick Wiseman 1997, 1998

This webspace contains links to and examples of a number of web-based tools useful for teaching virtually. It is a continual work in progress, which was originally prepared in connection with a presentation to the 1997 CALI Law School Computing Conference.

You will find here fully-functioning examples (some actually useful) of all of the virtual teaching tools in use on this site. There are synchronous and asynchronous tools, bulletin boards, realtime conferencing, editable web pages, and email discussion list archives (if only there had been some list activity to archive); and most of the software is readily available for download from the 'Net. The tools developed locally are not yet available, but it is anticipated that they will be available at some time in the not-too-distant future.
