Trent Speckhals (J.D. ’93) founded Speckhals Law PC in 1998, devoted to representing plaintiffs in wrongful death and serious personal injury cases. Previously, Speckhals litigated at one of the Southeast’s largest and oldest firms, Kilpatrick Townsend LLP.
Speckhals graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988. While working full time as an account executive and then sales director at AT&T, Speckhals attended Georgia State Law, where he was a member of Law Review and Moot Court, and graduated cum laude in 1993. He also served on the White House Advance Team for President George H.W. Bush.
Speckhals is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Association of Justice, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, and is an Eagle Scout. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine and has been selected to Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite. His article on prescription errors, “Not What the Doctor Ordered,” was published in the national magazine, TRIAL.
