Spring Training: Software Training Sessions

Spring Training is here!  The Law Information Technology team is offering training Q&A sessions this month. These sessions will be informal, so you can ask about specific tasks you would like to learn about software products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GroupWise or Paint Shop Pro.  All software training sessions will be conducted in the Urban Life 6th floor training lab (Room 603). Space is limited at each session, so please register online at http://law.gsu.edu/technology/trainingsessions. 

• PowerPoint Q&A Session:  Friday, 3/14/08 at 10:30 AM
• Paint Shop Pro Q& A Session:  Friday, 3/21/08 at 10:30AM
• Word Q&A Session:  Wednesday, 3/26/08 at 10:30AM
• GroupWise Q&A Session: Thursday, 3/27/08
• Excel Q&A Session:  Friday, 3/28/08 at 10:30AM

Also, come by Urban Life Room 201 on Wednesday, 3/19/08 at 10:30AM for a demonstration of two classroom polling Systems.  The first system, TurningPoint, uses clickers, is easy to use, and integrates fully with PowerPoint.  The second system, InstaPoll, is an online offering if you use Westlaw’s TWEN for your courses. After the demonstration, let us know what you think of each of these systems!
