Public Computers

The library offers four PC workstations in our public computing alcove and one PC workstation in the law library stacks, located on the second level. Use of these PC workstations is limited to users performing legal research and users who may need research assistance from the law library staff. Users wishing to check their email, do word processing, utilize special software, or accessing their centrally stored resources need to use other computing resources to do so. If greater computing resources or general Internet access is required, the University Library provides additional university and public computing resources.

From these workstations researchers can access a variety of legal resources and library services including the Law Library's online catalog, subscription databases and government websites. To view a list of the Law Library's web subscriptions available at the workstations visit the law library database list.

Patrons using the PC workstations may print to the PantherPrint release station or download legal research to disk. Visitors must purchase a guest card ($1.00) from the Value Transfer Station in Copy Room 116 in order to print to the PantherPrint release station. Each print job is five cents a page.
