The College of Law is committed to providing opportunities for emplolyee engagement and development through education, training, and events. There are currently two standing committees at the College of Law devoted to employee personal and professional development. There are also a number of programs offered by the University to assist employees with growth and development.
The staff relations and events and professional development committees are standing committees of the College of Law staff charged with the planning of employee relations and professional development events. The committees investigate ways in which staff members can benefit from training programs and make recommendations on staff development to the Dean's executive committee. The Professional Development Committee is also responsible for maintaining a list of professional development opportunities for staff available throughout the university.
The staff professional development committee meets regularly during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.

The office conducts prevention and compliance training programs for faculty, staff and students on issues related to equal opportunity, affirmative action, diversity in the workplace and sexual harassment.

Employee Development and Wellness Services
Programs inlcude Employee Assistance Program (FASA), Work/Life Resources, and Worksite Wellness Program.
Recreational Services
The department strives to promote a healthy lifestyle through recreational sports and fitness activities offered to the University community.
Crime Prevention
The unit offers a variety of campus-safety programs and services to staff, students and faculty including alcohol awareness, office safety, vehicle assists, and workplace violence.
Counseling and Testing Center
The center provides self-help information pages focused on such issues as career indecision, grief and loss, and stress.
