Description
. (3) semester hours, one semester requirement. Prerequisites: Strong research and writing skills. Second and third year students may apply. Students work a minimum of 10 hours per week for Justice Benham under the direct supervision of Justice Benham's law assistants. Students will research and write on issues appearing in cases pending before the Supreme Court. Students are encouraged to attend the Court's oral argument sessions during their externships. All students who have not previously taken an externship must attend a classroom component at the law school. Consent of the Lawyer Skills Externship Program faculty required for enrollment.
