Currently, the Southeastern Intellectual Property Job Fair (SIPJF) focuses on providing a place for serious IP law students and top IP employers to meet. For the past 7 years, SIPJF has successfully created an environment for employers to interview potential summer and new associates. However, SIPJF has recognized that the need for patent agents and technical advisors is on the rise. 

As a result, SIPJF has created this resource, PaTech Portal, that will provide a qualified pool of talented and skilled individuals from across the southeast with academic backgrounds well-suited to become a patent agent or technical advisor, with some who are planning to attend law school or who are law school graduates.

You can choose to either interview candidates at SIPJF in July or you can fill an immediate full-time, part-time or contract need through a resume collect. Employers now have a targeted recruitment vehicle to interview both summer/new associate and agent/advisor candidates from across the southeast - all through SIPJF!

You will be able to qualify candidates by these criteria:

• Law school graduate
• Graduating law student
• Incoming law student
• Candidates with an appropriate academic background regardless of law school status
• Licensed patent agent
• Eligible to sit for Patent Bar Exam

PaTech Portal Employer Fees:

• $225 - One interview schedule of up to 20 candidates.  This selection is for employers who want to interview all candidates individually, yet all on one day (July 31, 2012) at the Southeastern Intellectual Property Job Fair at Georgia State University College of Law.
• $50 - One interview schedule of up to 20 candidates.  This selection is for employers who also registered as a SIPJF employer so they receive a PaTech schedule at this discounted price.
• $175 - Resume collect option.  This selection is for employers who want to select candidates as soon as possible and arrange individual interviews with candidates.
