George Mukundi

George Mukundi Wachira is the inaugural General Secretary of the Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE). He became involved in GAJE as a law student in 1999 at the University of Nairobi in Kenya where he co-founded a student’s run legal aid clinic. He remains involved in legal education reform initiatives with the legal aid clinic and the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, South Africa where he is completing a doctorate in law. He is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a research fellow with the South African Institute for Advanced Constitutional, Public, Human Rights and International Law.
