Panel Discussion: Environmental Laws and Policies of Brazilian Cities

Join the Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth for a panel discussion about the environmental laws and policies of Brazilian cities. This panel discussion will follow up on the Rio+20 conference this past summer, and will feature three distinguished speakers: Colin Crawford, Robert C. Cudd Professor of Law and Executive Director of the Payson Center for International Development at Tulane Law School; Romulo Sampaio, Professor of Environmental Law and Academic Coordinator for the Center for Environmental Law at FGV in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and: Paulo Affonso Leme Machado, Professor of Law at Methodist University of Piracicaba in Sao Paulo, Brazil and father of environmental law in Brazil.
