Immigration Reform
Noon - 1 pm - Room 100The J. Reuben Clark Law Society is proud to host Mr. Charles Kuck for this year’s Law Week; he will discuss Immigration Reform.

Charles Kuck is the Managing Partner of Kuck Immigration Partners LLC and oversees its nationwide immigration practice.
Mr. Kuck’s practice focuses on Immigration and Nationality Law. His practice handles professional visas, labor certifications, immigrant visas, consular representation, and citizenship issues. His clients include technology firms, manufacturers, multinational corporations, investors and entrepreneurs, as well as families, individual immigrants and asylum seekers.
Mr. Kuck was named one of the 100 most influential Georgians by Georgia Trend Magazine in 2011 and as one of Georgia’s Legal Elite in 2012. For the 10th year in a row, Mr. Kuck has been named by Atlanta Magazine as a Georgia Super Lawyer in the field of Immigration. He is also part of the group of attorneys litigating against HB 87—Georgia’s immigration law.
Mr. Kuck is a former National President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He currently serves as the President of the Alliance of Business Immigration Lawyers (ABIL), is on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Council of International Visitors (GCIV), and is Vice Chair of the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO).
Mr. Kuck has testified in Congress on immigration issues and is frequently quoted in the press, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, The National Journal, The Miami Herald, and the AJC. He has also appeared on national news shows, including CBS, NBC, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, Democracy Now, CNBC, and NPR.

He will present on Criminal Justice in Japan with comparisons to the U.S. system.
