Public Interest Career Panel (Part Two: Criminal)
Noon - 1 pm - Room 170The Public Interest Law Association (P.I.L.A.) in conjunction with the Georgia Association of Black Women Lawyers (GABWA) and the CSO present a three-part panel on careers in the public interest. Part two will feature attorneys who are working in public interest/public service careers focusing on criminal work. The panelists include:
JaDawnya Butler, Assistant District Attorney with the Fulton County District Attorney, and President of GABWA;
Anna Kurien, Public Defender with the Dekalb County Public Defender's Office;
and Assistant United States Attorney, Shanya Dingle.
Food will be provided.

We will be selling Red and Blue treats and tracking the winning party based on how many red or blue treats are sold. Money raised will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!

PILA Careers in the Public Interest: Panel Three (Civil & Criminal)
5 - 5:50 pm - Room 170The Public Interest Law Association (P.I.L.A.) in conjunction with the Georgia Association of Black Women Lawyers (GABWA) and the CSO present a three-part panel on careers in the public interest. Part three will feature attorneys who are working in public interest/public service careers focusing on both civil and criminal work. The panelists include:
Judge Nikki Flowers, an Administrative Law Judge with the Social Security Administration;
Dave Whisnant, the supervising attorney at the Georgia Law Center for the Homeless;
and a representative from the Clayton County D.A. (One additional panelist TBD).
Food will be provided.
