Exam-Taking Presentation by Professor Barry Friedman of NYU Law
3 - 4 pm - Room 170Exams are as inevitable as death and taxes, but they can be a lot more pleasant. The trick is understanding what it is the professors want, and how to deliver that. New York University Law Professor Barry Friedman is one of the co-authors of "Open Book: Succeeding on Exams from the First Day of Law School" (http://openbook.wolterskluwerlb.com/). He's been tutoring and talking about exam-taking since he was a law student. He will discuss the heart of exam-taking, relate it to what goes on in class, and explain how to maximize your performance. He'll also answer questions, and hand out some free exam prep materials.
The presentation will be on Monday, February 25, 2013, in Room 170. We will record the presentation for those students unable to attend.
