HeLP Clinic Info Session

Noon - 1 pm - Room 100

The HeLP Clinic will hold an Information Session for potential students for the Spring 2013 Semester on Monday, October 15th at 12:00 noon in Room 100.

The HeLP Legal Services Clinic is part of a Medical-Legal Partnership of the GSU College of Law, Atlanta Legal Aid Society, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.  Clinic students engage in interdisciplinary learning and representation of low-income clients.  HeLP Clinic is a 3 credit hour course that offers you the opportunity to develop practical legal experience while servicing low-income families.  You will learn to collaborate with other professionals for the benefit of your clients, and gain valuable understanding of the health care profession and systems.

Although the HeLP Clinic deals with health issues, the practical skills taught in the course may be applied to any type of legal work.  You do not need to have experience in healthcare nor a desire to practice health law in order to take advantage of the course.

Please come ask questions and hear from current Clinic students about the experience. Contact : Shamecia Powers
