Stress Recognition - How to Maintain Your Humanity as a Law Student and a Lawyer

The Student Health Law Association and the Career Services Office have invited guest speaker, Mr. Evan Katz -- "The Anger Guy," to join students on campus for "Stress Recognition: How to Maintain Your Humanity as a Law Student and a Lawyer" during a week directed towards student health and wellness. Mr. Katz will instruct attendees on how to recognize and address the signs of emotional and mental distress in themselves, their colleagues and their clients.

Evan Katz, M.C., L.P.C., is a licensed professional counselor and master addiction counselor. He has the proven skill and methods to lead people to see things in themselves they haven't seen before. As a speaker, he guides his audience with laughter and heartfelt self-examination, down a pathway to begin the journey toward wholeness and renewed relationships. He has provided numerous continuing education sessions for attorneys to aid in managing and mediating anger in themselves and their clients, and was recently featured in Men's Health magazine.
