Renata Deann Turner

Renata Turner is the director of pro bono and experiential learning at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School (AJMLS). Prior to joining AJMLS, Turner was the director of the Domestic Violence Project with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, a non-profit that coordinates free legal representation for low-income clients. There she represented and trained volunteer attorneys and third-year law students to represent domestic violence victims in a variety of family law issues.

In addition to her duties as the pro bono and experiential learning director, Turner teaches Domestic Violence and the Law at both AJMLS and Georgia State University's College of Law. She also serves on the Fulton County Child Advocates Board, the Executive Board of the Charles Weltner Family Law Inn of Court and is a part-time Magistrate for the State Court of Fulton County.
