The Center also supports collaboration among multi-disciplinary faculty and practitioners whose research and professional work can help to improve health and the health care system.

One illustration of this commitment is the educational and community outreach project known as the Health Law Partnership (HeLP), an interdisciplinary collaboration among Georgia State Law's Center for Law, Health & Society, the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to improve the health of low-income children and their families in metropolitan Atlanta through on-site legal services clinics at Children's hospitals. By combining the health care expertise of hospital professionals with the legal expertise of attorneys, HeLP provides a coordinated and integrated set of services to address the multiple determinants of low-income children's health.  Professor Scott was the Director of the HeLP Legal Services Clinic at the law school from 2005-2010.
