Deborah E. Schander

Reference/Student Services Librarian

Deborah Schander joined the College of Law Library in August 2010 as a Reference/Student Services Librarian. She teaches Legal Bibliography and International & Foreign Legal Research, and provides legal reference services to students, faculty and other visitors to the law library. Deborah maintains the library's blog, The Blackacre Times. She also provides research training to law students, the HeLP clinic and Moot Court.

Prior to coming to Georgia State, Deborah was the Reference and Electronic Services Librarian at the University of La Verne College of Law in southern California. She also interned at Georgia State's law library in 2006.

Deborah received her JD and MLIS from Florida State University in 2007. She is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), including its southeastern (SEAALL) and Atlanta (ALLA) chapters.
