Lin Inlow, MEd, MS, LPC

Lin is the Director of Education and Mediation at The Consortium on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (CNCR) at Georgia State University, is a licensed professional counselor. Lin founded and continues to direct The CNCR's Summer Institute on Conflict Management in Higher Education. She administers the University System of Georgia's Mediation Program and consults with the 35 institutions of the Georgia system on the development and implementation of conflict management programs. Prior to joining the CNCR, Lin served as University Ombudsperson at Georgia State University, Director of Organizational and Employee Development, and Director of the Employee Assistance Program. Lin has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Maine, Kennesaw State University, Columbia College and Georgia State University. As an organizational development consultant in the areas management and leadership, Lin facilitated leadership development for North Fulton Leadership and teaches leadership skills to international Humphrey Fellows at Emory University School of Public Health. 

As an experienced mediator and program administrator, Lin has mediated disputes; designed conflict management systems; written/produced mediation teaching materials including manuals, videos, simulations, etc.; trained mediators from a variety of industries including the mediation training of Siberian coal miners; developed mentoring programs for mediators; facilitated communities of practice for ombudspersons; evaluated conflict management programs; and conducted organizational/conflict assessments.

She has also been a member of The Carter Center facilitation team working in The Netherlands on ""The Sudan Peace Initiative"" and worked with the Atlanta Project on conflict resulting from gentrification of urban neighborhoods. Lin was a co-convener and facilitator of a working group on Conflict Resolution Education/Peace Education for the Global Conference From Reaction to Prevention: Civil Society Forging Partnerships to Prevent Violent Conflict and Build Peace at the United Nations.

Lin has consulted on the development and implementation of conflict management in the higher education systems of South Africa, Poland, Scotland, and England. She has taught mediation at Birmingham City University, UK, and at the World Health Organization's headquarters in Geneva, and  their Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office in Cairo. 

Lin served on the Board of Directors for the American Association of University Administrators, the Advisory Board for the Campus Conflict Resolution Resources Clearinghouse and is a past Co-Chair of the Research Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution.
