Lin InlowDirector, Education and Mediation, CNCRM.S., Employee Counseling, Georgia State University, 1987 Lin Inlow, MEd, MS, LPC As an experienced mediator and program administrator, Lin has mediated disputes; designed conflict management systems; written/produced mediation teaching materials including manuals, videos, simulations, etc.; trained mediators from a variety of industries including the mediation training of Siberian coal miners; developed mentoring programs for mediators; facilitated communities of practice for ombudspersons; evaluated conflict management programs; and conducted organizational/conflict assessments. She has also been a member of The Carter Center facilitation team working in The Netherlands on ""The Sudan Peace Initiative"" and worked with the Atlanta Project on conflict resulting from gentrification of urban neighborhoods. Lin was a co-convener and facilitator of a working group on Conflict Resolution Education/Peace Education for the Global Conference From Reaction to Prevention: Civil Society Forging Partnerships to Prevent Violent Conflict and Build Peace at the United Nations. Lin has consulted on the development and implementation of conflict management in the higher education systems of South Africa, Poland, Scotland, and England. She has taught mediation at Birmingham City University, UK, and at the World Health Organization's headquarters in Geneva, and their Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office in Cairo. Lin served on the Board of Directors for the American Association of University Administrators, the Advisory Board for the Campus Conflict Resolution Resources Clearinghouse and is a past Co-Chair of the Research Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution. |
