Nicole G. IannaroneAssistant Clinical ProfessorNicole Iannarone is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Investor Advocacy Clinic. The clinic will provide students with an opportunity to represent small investors with claims against their brokers before FINRA and to help educate potential investors. A graduate of the Yale Law School, she was a formerly a partner at Bondurant Mixson & Elmore, LLP where she practiced for nearly a decade representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining the College of Law, Iannarone served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Mercer Law School, where she taught Civil Lawsuits and the Law of Lawyering. Iannarone is active in the bar and the community. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Disciplinary Rules and Procedures Committee as well as the Professionalism Committee. She is the vice-chair of the Atlanta Bar Association's Reputation and Public Trust Committee, has been named "Local Litigation Star" by Benchmark Plaintiff and was named a Rising Star attorney several times by Atlanta Law and Politics Magazine. She has received the Kerry Harike Joedecke Atlanta Young Lawyer of the Year Award and the Brenau Women’s College Young Alumnae Award. In law school, Iannarone was an editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation, served as a Dean's Advisor and was a student director of the Housing and Community Development Clinic. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Brenau Women's College. In addition to the Investor Advocacy Clinic, Iannarone teaches Professional Responsibility and Complex Litigation. |
