Jimmy HurtAdjunct FacultyJames W. Hurt Jr. (J.D. '03) is a founding partner with Hurt, Stolz & Cromwell LLC, which focuses on class action, personal injury, wrongful death, products liability and medical malpractice cases. He joined Georgia State University College of Law as an adjunct professor in 2007, after graduating with honors in 2003. During his time as a student at Georgia State Law, he was president of the Student Trial Lawyers Association, founding president of the Oglethorpe Legal Society and sat on the Moot Court Board. Mr. Hurt was born in Macon, grew up in Cordele, Ga., and finished his bachelor of science degree in microbiology at University of Georgia. He worked in the poultry industry for a decade before resigning as quality assurance manager to attend law school. Click for more information about Mr. Hurt.
