Christopher Lee HagenbushAdjunct/Visiting FacultyChris Hagenbush is Senior Counsel for The Coca-Cola Company. He has global responsibility for providing advice and counsel necessary to manage issues and opportunities related to the composition, labeling, advertising, production and distribution of beverage brands owned by The Coca-Cola Company. During 2003 and 2004, Chris was Group Counsel for the Asia Pacific Strategic Business Unit of The Coca-Cola Company and was based in Tokyo, Japan. Chris is active in key trade and non-profit organizations such as the American Beverage Association, The Grocery Manufacturers of America (GMA), The Calorie Control Council, The Food Update Foundation and Food and Drug Law Institute. He is past Chair of the GMA Legal Committee and was a director of the Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI), a member of the FDLI Executive Committee, Chairman of the FDLI Strategic Planning Committee, and First Vice Chairman of the FDLI Board. In 2002, Chris received the FDLI Distinguished Service and Leadership Award. Before joining The Coca-Cola Company in 1990, Chris worked in a variety of in-house legal positions with Schering-Plough, S.C. Johnson and Miles Laboratories in the food, cosmetic, OTC drug and packaged goods businesses. Chris is licensed to practice in Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia and is a 1979 graduate of the Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis. He has an undergraduate degree in History from I. U. Bloomington. |
