Robert A. BoasLitigation ProgramFrom 1984 to 2002, when he retired from the full-time practice of law, Robert A. Boas was Senior Litigation Counsel at The Coca-Cola Company, where he managed a group of lawyers and paralegals that handled most of the company’s domestic litigation. Since then, in addition to his responsibilities as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Georgia State University College of Law, Mr. Boas has been Operations Manager at the International Community School, a public charter elementary school in DeKalb County, Georgia. Mr. Boas was formerly a litigation partner in the firm of Kutak Rock & Huie in Atlanta. Prior to joining the Kutak firm, he served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, where he prosecuted a wide variety of federal crimes. From 1998-2001, Mr. Boas was co-chair of the ABA Section of Litigation's Committee on Corporate Counsel. Mr. Boas is also admitted to the bar in Connecticut, where he was in private practice for five years with the law firm of Shipman & Goodwin. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Trinity College (Hartford, CT) and the University of Virginia School of Law. |
