We know that all law students have very demanding schedules. Our staff is available to help through a variety of services designed to make your life a little easier.
Advising and academic assistance
Your faculty advisor will guide you throughout your time in law school, helping you choose the courses that best fit your interests and schedule, and sharing information on academic resources and opportunities. Log in with Campus ID to find your advisor.
Academic Enrichment Program
Georgia State Law’s Academic Enrichment Program provides you with the tools you need to remain in good standing and succeed in law school. During the program’s Study Skills Series, professors present skills and tips every law student will use throughout his or her time in school.
Student Skills Tutors offer interactive workshops that integrate those skills with assistance in first-year, required substantive coursework, giving you the tools to do your best from day one.
Your legal career begins the day you step on campus. The Career Services Office provides career guidance and resources to students, alumni and guests from other ABA accredited schools. You may attend workshops on drafting resumes and cover letters, schedule a personal career advising appointment, participate in job fairs and more. More.
Lockers are available for rent in the Urban Life Building for $35 per year.
Meeting and Study Space
Students may reserve space in the law library for study or elsewhere in the Urban Life Building for other school-related meetings and events. Small meeting rooms, classrooms and courtrooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Registrar’s Office manages student records, course registration and withdrawal, examination periods, commencement and more.
The Law Technology team manages all equipment in the classrooms, courtrooms and offices, as well as the law library computer lab, research stations and printers. Requests for assistance may be submitted to the online HelpDesk 24 hours a day.
Tuition, fees and financial aid
Financial aid at the College of Law is managed through the university’s Office of Student Financial Services. Tuition and fees are subject to change each year.
