Georgia State Law manages a number of facilities for student use, from classrooms and courtrooms to private study rooms and lounges.
The college has 17 classrooms and conference rooms, which are equipped with a range of presentation aids and technology from dry-erase boards and projectors to Sympodium interactive monitors and media players. Some rooms also include video-capture technology for recording lectures, meetings and special events.
The trial courtroom (Room 140) and appellate courtroom (Room 658) each include a jury box, student seating, gallery monitors, video-recording capabilities and more.
The Law Library offers various independent and collective spaces to work, including wired study carrels, study rooms and a student computer lab.
The sixth floor student lounge offers cafe-style seating, club chairs, a microwave and television.
Student Organization Offices
Shared office space is provided to student organizations throughout the Urban Life Building. The majority reside on the second floor.
Located on the second floor of the Urban Life building, the West Lounge features a number of vending machines, a refrigerator, microwave and seating area along a wall of windows with patio access. It’s convenient to meeting spaces as well as University Center, the Student Center plaza and Auxiliary Services.
