  • Exploring Global Conflict: A site from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee that was developed and edited for the 1998 Global Studies Summer Institute (GSSI) entitled "Cultural Differences in an Interdependent World: Exploring Global Conflict." This guide features a variety of Internet resources related to conflict, peace, current news sources, human rights and humanitarian aid, educational resources, as well as information related to specific conflicts around the world including: Northern Ireland, the Middle East, the Great Lakes region in Africa, and the former Yugoslavia.
  • George Mason University Web Guides: A list of journals, articles, databases and other online publications.  Some of these will only be accessible by George Mason students.
  • Global Arbitration Mediation Association (GAMA): E-Directories of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) professionals are designed to help disputants find mediators and arbitrators appropriate for resolving their conflicts by permitting searches of the database.
  • Program on Negotiation at Harvard School of Law: A university consortium dedicated to developing the theory and practice of negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • RAND Corporation: The RAND Corporation is a nonprofit institution that helps improve policy and decisionmaking through research and analysis.

Innovations and Progress in Georgia's System

  • Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s website has a required on-line workshop for faculty and staff
  • Georgia State University ombuds office regularly presents workshops in such forums as lunch-and-learn series, workshops, and freshman orientation classes
  • Kennesaw State University’s creation of a Masters Program in Conflict Management and the ADR certificate program are two important developments
  • Medical College of Georgia provides a hot line for faculty, staff and students to raise issues anonymously. 
  • University of Georgia’s Academic Honesty Facilitated Discussion Model - uses principles of interest-based negotiation to provide a fair and immediate forum to address allegations of academic dishonesty
  • The Shared Governance Initiative at Georgia College and State University
