The CNCR is dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge concerning conflict prevention and resolution.

Training

Working relationships are productive when differences are acknowledged and problems resolved efficiently through non-coercive means.  Shared goals are crucial in today’s changing social, political, and economic environment.  The CNCR creates constructive solutions and consensus on shared goals.

The CNCR’s training program for bridging theory and practice in conflict resolution uses proven innovations of respected theorists and the invaluable experience of practitioners as keystones to program design.  Faculty conduct interactive learning experiences that provide hands-on, practical tools and techniques for conflict management and dispute resolution.  Faculty are selected based upon their extensive consulting experience with private and public organizations in such areas as conflict management, strategic planning, organizational development, and joint problem-solving.  Faculty include experienced mediators, facilitators, and organizational specialists representing a wide range of disciplines.
