CNCR is dedicated to the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge about conflict prevention, management, and resolution. Over the years, CNCR's research efforts have focused on the cutting edge of the field while maintaining a dynamic and vital bridge between theory and practice.
Our staff and affiliated faculty regularly publish and present research findings at academic and practitioner symposia and conferences, including many sponsored by CNCR. As an inter-institutional consortium, we support the degree programs of affiliated institutions rather than offering our own. In addition to our regular workshops and Summer Institute, we conduct specially designed training and educational programs for both public and private entities worldwide.
In addition to training, CNCR provides consultation and facilitation services primarily to institutions of higher education seeking to better handle campus conflict and to government entities engaged in collaborative governance of large-scale, complex public policy and environmental problems. CNCR only contracts services on projects that can also serve as living laboratories for our research.
The CNCR offices at Georgia State University College of Law include a resource library. The library is available by appointment only, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, please contact Diadra Dorsey. Materials are for use inside the library only, and cannot be checked out.
