Metro Growth Center Programs

The Metro Growth Center’s programs offer opportunities for students, scholars and practitioners to explore issues relating to metropolitan growth and its effect upon the built and natural environment in a wide variety of ways. They include:

Urban Fellows Program

This interdisciplinary program brings together top graduate students from across Georgia State University and Georgia Tech’s School of City and Regional Planning to study and discuss issues related to urban growth with scholars and leading professionals. Learn more.

International Perspectives Course

Each spring, the center sponsors a foreign enrichment course focused on urban law and policy.  Distinguished scholars from around the world lead small, focused seminars about growth management  and environmental law and regulations in their countries. Learn more.

Study Space is a series of weeklong intensive workshops held around the world, designed to give scholars and practitioners a deeper understanding of urban growth issues around the world. Learn more.

Study Abroad

Study Abroad Programs regularly offered by the Center provide our students with an opportunity to learn about history, environmental, land use and disaster law, while experiencing different traditions, cultures, and cuisines around the world. Learn more.
