About SIPJF

SIPJF mainly targets fulfilling summer associate and entry-level positions for 2011.  Consequently, participation is open to full-time and part-time students (from registered schools) who are classified as rising 2L or rising 3L students, who will return for classes for the Fall 2010 semester.  Students that will graduate in the Spring or Summer of 2010 are not eligible (unless specifically requested by an employer). LLM students and Alumni are also ineligible.

Which Schools Can Participate?

Accredited law schools in the southeastern region of the US (as defined by NALP) are automatically invited to participate in this fair.

Currently, the southeastern region is defined as West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Puerto Rico, Texas and Oklahoma.

Special Notes for Graduating 3L Students

If an employer contacts us with opportunities for students graduating in the Spring/Summer of 2010, all registered schools will be contacted in order to disperse such information to their current 3L students.

Graduating students who would like to paricipate in the resume collect will be assessed a one- time nominal processing fee.  Further instructions will be given to the career services office when the job announcement is sent to them.
